Known as a student of the Word, beloved father, grandfather and a loyal friend, Dr. Terry Hasten was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 25, 1958 to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hasten, Sr.
He graduated from Sunshine High School in 1976. Dr. Hasten proceeded to further his educational ambitions by attending Southern University, where he graduated in 1980. After graduating from Southern University, he was employed at Pioneer Chemical Company in the city of St. Gabriel. At Pioneer, he worked for 17 years without missing a single day of work.
After God called him into the ministry of Christ Jesus, he attended Christian Bible College from 1989 to 2006 and ultimately graduated with a doctoral degree in Theology.
Dr. Hasten is the author of the seminal work entitled From Salvation to Maturity, which has received widespread acclaim.
Dr. Hasten gives all of the praise and glory to God the Father and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has saved many people in his ministry and has allowed a multitude of sheep to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and in water.
Dr. Hasten has been married to the love of his life, First Lady, Linda M. Hasten, for 34 years. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters: TaMeshia and Terrie Lynn, as well as grandfather of four: Tim-micheal Hasten, Sky'lur Fleming, Genesis Jackson and Tylynn Fleming.
